The new burgers were spotted at a Jack in the Box restaurant in Sacramento, California, selling for $5.29 each.
Interestingly enough, the ribeye patty is described as being on the “dry,” side by at least two food reviewers that posted All American Ribeye Burger reviews on Facebook and YouTube. Despite being “dry” the All American’s flavor is “superior to most fast-food burgers,” according to J.C. Mtz. He recommends “adding more basic condiments” to help better balance the moisture.

According to DrunkFoodReviews, the All American Ribeye Burger consists of a ribeye patty, mayo, mixed greens, sliced tomatoes, grilled red onions and provolone cheese on a potato bun. Again, DrunkFoodReviews described the ribeye patty as being “dry,” but found a “significant flavor difference” compared to Jack’s regular beef patty.
If you’re not familiar with ribeye, it’s a cut of beef taken from the animal’s rib section. Most butchers will happily ground any cut of beef for you if you ask nicely.
